Customers face significant hurdles in their dairy shopping journey, such as inconvenience from frequent grocery store trips and time constraints. The inconsistent availability of preferred products exacerbates the issue, while inefficient delivery processes lead to delays and quality concerns. Moreover, the lack of flexible subscription options limits customers' ability to customize orders and delivery frequencies to suit their preferences effectively.

The goal for Dairy Drop is to revolutionize grocery shopping through its subscription-based app, offering seamless delivery of dairy and non-dairy products. Catering to busy users, the app allows for effortless management of subscriptions, scheduling of deliveries, and order tracking, thereby prioritizing convenience, customization, and reliability in the shopping experience.

We envision a future where individuals can enjoy convenient access to high-quality products, without the hassle of frequent grocery store visits. Dairy Drop strives to foster healthier lifestyles and promote sustainability by providing fresh, locally-sourced options while prioritizing customer satisfaction and convenience. Through innovation and commitment to excellence, we aim to become the preferred choice for those seeking reliable and personalized dairy and non-dairy deliveries.

THE VISION

Dairy Drop specializes in providing high quality, sustainable and ethically sourced milk to the customers. They believe in taking care of the environment and the animals that provide them with milk. They are passionate about reducing waste and promoting sustainable living. They try to improve and help their customer to live a healthier lifestyle.

THE CLIENT

Through collaborative efforts on Miro, we consolidated competitor research, examining brands like Mama Earth, Mr Dairy, Community Natural Foods Milk, and Fairlife, which offer similar services to Dairy Drop. By dissecting the strengths and weaknesses of these competitors, we gained a comprehensive understanding of the current market landscape. This analysis empowers us to devise effective strategies that differentiate Dairy Drop from its rivals, positioning it as a leader in the dairy delivery space.

COMPETITORS RESEARCH

An in-depth user interview was conducted to gather direct insights from the target audience. This one-on-one conversation offered a rich understanding of individual needs, preferences, and obstacles, which significantly influenced the app's design direction and development.

USER RESEARCH

I created two user personas, the qualitative persona, shaped the interviews and primary studies, and the quantitative persona, formed through desk research. Then sights from these interviews enhanced the qualitative persona, ehile the desk research reinforced the accuracy of the quantitative persona.

USER PERSONA

To gain deeper insights into user needs and design a more user-centric service, an empathy map was created, capturing users' sayings, doings, thoughts, and feelings, as well as their gains and pains in the context of dairy product shopping and delivery.

Created to clearly outline the user's activities and feelings at each step. I deduced opportunities to refine the user experience.

USER FLOW

Drawing from persona, the user flow is designed for affordability and flexibility. Users can quickly find family-friendly milk options and effortlessly reschedule deliveries to fit their schedules.
